I started with the intention to write on the way in which First Nations could use traditional food as the basis for weight loss without going out of their source of traditional food. Yes! This could be done, but this approach is realistic. The conclusion is clear, the judgment of the evolution of food choices is a complete set of articles on itself. When I speak of the evolution of food choices that it can be as simple as a substitute for some occasions, the minced meat to the place of the deer meat or tuna in the place of Salmon or perhaps to the place of chicken grouse. I must stay on the subject, but I was irritated by the articles as the one that I read this morning on the way in which our traditional food sources such as the white-tailed deer and fish are few, and that is why we changed to eat bologna. I find that disturbing when the source is really from a transcript of a survey conducted on coastal communities of First Nations.
